In case you weren’t paying attention during the holidays, here are some recent comings and goings in the dining scene.
Sal Parco seems to be refining his empire, both Uno Mas and Sette have closed, and his other restaurants are expanding their hours. All three Mustard Seeds will be open for Sunday brunch. Boulevard Diner will serve Sunday breakfast, and Village Bakery and Cafe will be open for dinner from Mon.-Sat.
Sette’s old space on Coleman Boulevard has already been snapped up and will soon become the second location of downtown’s Pane e Vino. A phone message says they are taking reservations and will reopen on Jan. 17.
Apparently Hucks Lowcountry Table on IOP is closed, and a disconnected phone line seems to confirm that Hucks is no longer in business. We’re keeping an eye on that space to see what happens there as it’s a primo location on the beach that had a pretty regular clientele.
