[image-1]Notorious “outlaw country” performer and veteran songwriter David Allen Coe’s show scheduled for Wed. Jan. 9 at the Pour House was officially canceled this week. Coe enjoyed a tumultuous career for four decades (his most successful songs became hits for the likes of Willie Nelson, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, and Johnny Paycheck). According to reports from clubs on the regional circuit, he and his band haven’t exactly been selling many tickets to shows in support of his latest effort, Rebel Meets Rebel.

“Due to a simple lack of ticket sales, we are pulling the Coe show,” says Pour House proprietor Alex Harris.
