We’re just about two months out from the Charleston Comedy Festival, but the creative geniuses organizing the event — i.e. Theatre 99 and the City Paper — already have some comics lined up.

One of the fest’s biggest headliners is L.A.-based comic T.J. Miller, who’ll be performing Jan. 20-21 at the Footlight Players Theatre, and tickets are already on sale for $17.50. Miller got his start in 2008 starring in Cloverfield and has gone on to act in movies like Yogi Bear, Unstoppable, She’s Out of my League, and Get Him to the Greek. He was recently named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” and one of Entertainment Weekly’s “Next Big Things in Comedy.”

New York-based comic Nick Vatterott will be opening up for Miller. See charlestoncomedyfestival.com to buy tickets or for more details. Here’s the link for tickets to Friday night’s show on etix. For Saturday night, click here.
