  • Marty Stuart performs at the Coastal Carolina Fair on Oct. 29

The Coastal Carolina Fair celebrates its 55th anniversary this year at the Exchange Park in Ladson with a variety of concerts at the Lakefront Stage mini-amphitheater. The roster features plenty of country music, with a dose of oldies and classic rock for good measure.

This year’s series kicks off with a performance at 7 p.m. on Thurs. Oct. 27 by rockin’ country singer Colt Ford. Texas country vixen Sunny Sweeney performs on Fri. Oct. 28. Country veteran Marty Stuart brings a variety of traditional bluegrass, gospel, and rockabilly on Sat. Oct. 29. Contemporary country singer Easton Corbin returns from last year’s fair program for a show on Halloween. Georgia based songsmith Corey Smith hits the stage on Tues. Nov. 1.

Ohio-based blues/Americana singer/songwriter Crystal Bowersox plays on Wed. Nov. 2. Canadian rock legends the Guess Who (some of the original rhythm section guys are still in the lineup) are solid for Thurs. Nov. 3. Kentucky-born country singer John Michael Montgomery brings some traditional and modern tunes on Fri. Nov. 4. Oldies vocal group Jay and the Americans close the concert series on Sat. Nov. 5.
