Post-pop punk foursome Corinne released a four-song EP last week. The Charleston-based band recorded the album at James Island’s Battle Ground Recording Studio, where it was mixed and mastered by producer Clayton Stokes.
Corinne officially formed at bassist/vocalist Will Bragunier’s house off of Corinne Street after he introduced the rest of the guys to “Home for Me,” a song he wrote last year. “It was the first song he played for me the night we decided to make this thing happen, and I was blown away,” guitarist/vocalist Kyle Jorgenson says. “Lyrically it comes from a very hopeless place, a place many of us can say we’ve been, which is why so many people seem to connect to the song.”
“Home for Me” is also the title track to Corinne’s debut record, available now at corinnebandsc.bandcamp.com.
