Just over a year ago, the Creative Spark Center for the Arts was in the midst of a serious financial drought, but recent developments suggest that they’ve bounced back in a healthy way. They’ve opened the Clay Cottage and Art Studio at 1123 Chuck Dawley Blvd., an extension of their original Long Point Road facility. The new space will be targeted toward the studio’s adult audience with classes, parties, couples nights, artist studios, and more. Fall programming begins this month, and they’re also hosting a grand opening on Sun. Aug. 14 from 2-4 p.m. See more info at creativespark.org.
