In an effort to offer more Charleston residents the opportunity to experience the city’s resident full symphony orchestra, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra is offering special discounts to all new subscribers. This year’s season, running from Sept. 2016 to April 2017, will be the orchestra’s 80th and to celebrate, the CSO is offering a 30 percent discount for the Chamber Music and Pops! series and a 50 percent discount to the Masterworks series which highlights popular works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Mahler and more. The discount offer begins today, April 15.

“We want to show our appreciation to the entire community, including those members who have not yet experienced one of our performances before,” says Michael Smith, executive director of the CSO. New and returning subscribers will also have pre-sale priority to all of the orchestra’s special events for the season, such as the Holy City Messiah and annual New Year’s Eve Ball that will present award-winning pianist Leon Fleisher. So CSO newbs, take advantage, and be a part of a fresh new audience and experience those world-class acoustics in the CSO’s newly renovated home, the Gaillard Center.

To take advantage of the subscription, visit the CSO box office at 2133 N. Hillside Drive or call the box office at 843-723-7528, ext. 110.
