Cypress’ bar has always rocked, in an elegant, understated way. In honor of that sexy second-floor setting, Chef Craig Deihl has created a crazy awesome new bar menu at the East Bay Street restaurant that will debut Monday, May 18, just in time for the Spoletians.

The choices sound right up our alley. First, there’s a corn dog, and not just any old corn dog. This one’s made by hand with all local beef and pork served with honey mustard.

A muffaletta comes with housemade fennel and orange salami, house-cured pepperoni, and olive spread.

Popcorn livers are crispy fried chicken livers served with pepper jelly, made with roasted bell peppers, jalapeños, peppadews and Thai chilies.

And for the pig lovers out there, Trotter Tots are made from mustard seed and spice-cured pork trotters, braised, picked and then fried, served over Cajun boiled peanuts, and barbecue sauce. How’s that grab ya?

Those are just a handful of the 20 new items that range in price from $4 to $14. The menu is available every night from 5:30 p.m.-10 p.m. (until 11 p.m. on Fri. & Sat.).
