Duffy “Mama D” Ingle tells us it’s official. She has a space on Shem Creek — “next to the awesome folks at Coastal Expeditions” — and will be reopening the Daily Dose after the new year. Ingle closed her freaky little deli on Folly Road at the beginning of November with the promise that she was actively looking for a new spot.

At the new location, Ingle says she’ll have access to the freshest local seafood and will have outside seating overlooking the water. “People can kayak or boat right up to the Dose,” she says.

Stay tuned for details on their opening date.
