Charleston bar band Dante’s Camaro — a loud, obnoxious, and laughably indignant pack of brawlers — announced their final show. Last week, the band announced that they were putting an end to their four-year career. Before bow out of the rock ‘n’ roll scene for good, they have one more concert left inside. The band is set to perform a farewell gig (billed as "Dante’s Camaro is Dead") at the Tin Roof on Fri. Aug. 6 at 9 p.m.
"Four years is a long fucking time to be putting up with all you panty waists," stated Ben Dante in a recent press release. "We’re fucking through. This is our final show. The Tin Roof had better be fucking glad we chose them for this event."
No word on any special new rock covers in the set, although rumor has it they may attempt sloppy renditions of "The Breakup Song" by the Greg Khin Band, "It’s Over" by Roy Orbison, and "The End" by The Doors.
