Our city’s appetite for new beginnings is just as strong as its collective hankering for poke bowls and barbecue, so it’s no surprise that the running list of chef swaps continues.

Over at the city’s swankiest rooftop bar-less hotel, a new executive chef is in the house. Geoffroy Deconinck will fill the position at Henrietta’s, The Dewberry hotel’s restaurant. Deconinck arrives with a resume of accolades including a nomination for Food & Wine’s People’s Best New Chef award.

Meanwhile, at forthcoming Parcel 32 (formerly Fish), Chef David Schuttenberg has flown the coop. Schuttenberg moved to Charleston from NYC where he was Chef at Dickson’s Farmstand Meats in Chelsea Market to become Chef de cuisine at Chef Damon Wise’s Wise Buck project. When that failed and Wise moved, Schuttenberg joined Fish. Buuut Fish is now being transitioned into new restaurant Parcel 32 and with that Schuttenberg says he’s out, according to the Post & Courier. No word on where Schuttenberg will turn up next.
