[image-1]Oh, North Charleston, get excited. Dell’z Uptown owner Maudell Grayson, in partnership with her daughter Smarel Taylor, is bringing her fresh and healthy food to Reynolds Avenue.

The news comes via Metanoia’s newsletter. The nonprofit has announced that Dell’z on the Macon will replace its experimental coffee shop, Macon Cafe at 2021 Reynolds Ave.
Metanoia CEO Bill Stanfield opened the Macon in January as part of the nonprofit’s mission to bring a new business to the street. Duvall Catering ran the shop that sold breakfast and lunch items like a $3.99 grilled cheese with tomato soup costs and $4.99 wraps with chips.

Now the Macon will serve its last meal this Fri. Oct. 6 and Dell’z on the Macon will open in November.

“Smarel hopes to offer a spot in the Macon that pulls people in with hopes of getting folks together for some great food and to talk about nutrition, community, moms with careers, and more,” Metanoia’s newsletter says.
