This is what happens when politicians — left and right — court the more extreme sects of your party, in particular the, um, entertainment agitprop newsmen. In an effort to please the interviewer — to show them that yeah, I’m on your level, I’m a cool guy who sees it like you — the interview subject mommentarily forgets who they are and begins spouting off all sorts of half-thunk dimwittery (save that for the idiots like me.)

I still believe that there could be riots. Most will be small, but I think there is a chance that we can see some large ones. Small activist groups do make a difference.
