[image-1]If you love local art, but hate leaving it behind on your walls, now, thanks to Distil Union, you can take the work of creative minds like Patch Whisky and Becca Barnet with you everywhere you go.
The company behind nifty MagLock sunglasses and chic leather Wally wallets is now selling iPhone wearable art for a cool $59 a pop. Using the Wally wallet model — a slim wallet that holds your iPhone and cards — Distil Union has etched designs by local artists into the rich leather case.
Becca Barnet‘s design features adorable critters and flowers; YESAND‘s design is company creator Joel Sadler’s signature city map, hand drawn and oh so detailed; Patch Whisky‘s whimsical design features big googly eyes; Ink Meets Paper‘s case boasts an envelope and artful ink splatters; Perla Ann Press’ case is a precious cactus that you’ll probably want to hang in your window when you aren’t carrying it around; and Chechel Justiss went with oceanic vibes, sketching open-mouthed fish swimming across the case.
All the cases are available in black, brown, gray, or red, and are compatible with iPhone 6/S, 6/S Plus, iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8, and 8 Plus. A percentage of sales will be donated to the Charleston Regional Alliance for the Arts, a nonprofit that directly benefits the arts in the Lowcountry. [content-7][content-6][content-2][content-1]
