[image-1]In recent years, Charleston has found a place in spotlight as a premier destination for weddings nationwide. This January, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens showcases what the hype is all about at A Lowcountry Love Affair.
The event, held on Sun. Jan. 28, will be an afternoon of ceremony and celebration, featuring couples in four live ceremonies celebrating an elopement and 10-year, 25-year, and 50-year marriage milestones.
A Lowcountry Love Affair, in addition to featuring live ceremonies, also showcases 50 premier wedding services in Charleston from food to flora to booze to live music. The idea is to not only celebrate the love of the couples participating in the ceremonies, but for attendees to be able to walk away with inspiration and a point of reference for how to create the wedding day they’ve always hoped for.
You can even enter the contest to win an elopement or vow-renewal styled by the vendors showcased at the event on Magnolia Plantation’s website — winning couples will receive a ceremony service, dinner for two, and hotel accommodations for two nights. The deadline to enter is Dec. 15. Tickets for “A Lowcountry Love Affair” run from $20 to $40, and can also be purchased online.
