There’s a lot going on at Ted’s Butcherblock this month as they welcome the Spring season.

They’ve been utilizing seasonal ingredients as much as possible and offering a springtime panini with roasted chicken and spring pea pesto, and grilled and chilled shrimp with fresh mint, spring onions, and oven-roasted tomatoes. Anything that involves the word spring will pretty much be featured.

Then they’ll be continuing their popular, home-cooked “$12 Friday night dinners,” from 5-7 p.m. during the Friday night wine tastings. Customers can also receive a 10 percent discount on a bottle or glass of wine to pair with their dinner.

And they have to squeeze in a beer event to wrap it all up. The “Gluttonous Craft Beer Dinner” is $30 a person and will provide customers with four rich, flavorful courses paired with bold brews. The beer dinner takes place on Thurs. April 23. at 7 p.m. and reservations are required.

Of course, the biggest news this month is the continuation of their Economic Stimulus Plan in which every 20th lunch customer gets a free lunch! Those are odds we’re willing to take.
