[image-1]My boyfriend loves Harry Potter. Last night he joked to a non-believer about a specific character trait of Harry in book six, blah blah. I kid you not, the guy loves magic. Me on the other hand? Meh.
That said, you can likely expect to see me and the rest of Charleston’s Potter-heads (is that we call them?) at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center on Oct. 28. at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go live on Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com. You can order them by phone at (800) 745-3000. They range from $50-$90 and, presumably, come with a magic potion or wand or hat or whatever.
Performed by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Concert is the product of the Harry Potter Film Concert series from CineConcerts. A 40-foot screen will feature the film while the CSO plays every note from the flick live on stage. Winguardiam leviosa, amirite?
UPDATE: A second Harry Potter in Concert show has been added on Sun., Oct. 29 at 1:30pm. Tickets available now on Ticketmaster.
