Former Magnolia’s, Barsa, Darling Oyster Bar and CudaCo. chef Graham Calabria is delivering locally sourced dinners to Charleston-area doorsteps through his new company, Calabria’s Fine Foods. Since its April debut, Calabria’s has delivered meals every Wednesday throughout the Lowcountry, from North Charleston all the way to Kiawah Island.
Here’s how it works: Simply select how many meals you want for the week before ordering online. With a sliding price scale based on order frequency, Calabria’s dinners range from $15-$25 per meal, with delivery included in the cost.
Calabria’s prides itself on reducing its carbon footprint and minimizing food waste, so the meals include “everything you need for supper, nothing else.” The company also utilizes reusable packaging.
In addition to the meal delivery service, Calabria’s Fine Foods offers catering for small and large events, and owner Graham Calabria will pop-up at multiple spots around the Lowcountry this summer, donating 10% of the pop-up profits to The Green Heart Project.
“I’m thrilled how well our Charleston community is receiving my new business and the opportunity it gives me to voice my beliefs on educating children about where their food comes from and how it’s made with The Green Heart Project,” Calabria said. “Hopefully I can give something back to this wonderful town that has helped me along in my culinary journey.”
