[image-1]If you’re anything like us, you’re feeling a little shabby watching all the pretty people strolling the streets during Fashion Week. If you’re feeling less than put-together, the people at Upper Deck Tavern have just the party for you. Starting at 7 p.m. tonight (Friday), bust out your white shoes and hop on over to the “Fashion Faux Paux Whammies” party at the Upper Deck Tavern on King Street. The stomp the runway contest is the perfect opportunity to wear the tacky clothes stuffed in the back your closet. Rock your fashion-don’ts with special guest “Ana Rodriguez” and DJ Chucktown. Sip on drink specials like $4 Tim Gunn’s (the lovable mentor to Project Runway contestants) and $5 Lesbitini’s (what exactly constitutes a lesbian-friendly martini?). The Upper Deck hosts the bash in conjuction with The Naked Truth AIDS Project, a nonprofit organization whose goal is remind us that AIDS is closer to home than we care to think. It’s $5 to get in, but your cash goes to a good cause — the anti-fashion party is a fund-raiser for the Ryan White Foundation. Call (843) 958-0002 for more info. —Candice Summers
