South Carolina Republicans courageously drew a line in the sand earlier this month, moving up their primary to Jan. 19 to preserve our “First in the South” status. While that may continue to be true (for now), Michigan is looking to step over us.
Michigan has just taken the first step toward moving its primary election to Jan. 15, with the state Senate voting 21-17 in favor of the change today.
UPDATE: I didn’t think my sarcasm was evident in the original post. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone that didn’t see this kind of thing coming.
