Gay Presidential Debate?

Well, well, stop me in the street and call me Dorothy!!

The Human Rights Campaign has just announced that August 9 it will co-host a presidential forum with many of the Democratic Presidential Candidates attending and you and I can submit questions for them to answer! Hurry the deadline to submit questions is Wednesday.

LOGO, the cable channel devoted to the LGBT community is a co-host of the event as is gay-friendly MTV.

I find it interesting that they are not calling it a “debate.” I was less than amused with the CNN/YouTube “debate.” I thought it was more of a question and answer session as candidates were told to “stay on topic” and not challenge one another’s answers.

As Joe Solmonese, President of HRC said in his email announcement about this event, “Speak up and let’s make our voices heard!”
