Fronted by singer Mark Adkins, the fast and furious skate-punk band Guttermouth (from Huntington Beach, Calif.) is heading to the Oasis (788 Folly Rd., 843-225-2522) on Fri. Aug. 14. The band added the Charleston date to a week-long tour of Florida, with backing from Florida punk band Does It Matter, who open at the Oasis alongside Snatch Racket (formerly Shotguns and Casualties), and The 33’s. A mobile skatepark will be set up as well.

The current Guttermouth roster includes Adkins, Clinton Weinrich on bass, Ryan Farrell on drums, and Dave Luckett and Brandon Zinkil on guitars. The band’s tenth album, Shave the Planet, came out in 2007.

The show is presented by Powerstroke Promotions. 8 p.m. Tickets are available now for $12 (adv.) and $15 day of show. See xxx-guttermouth-xxx.com for more info.
