The Pour House announced a big local band showcase on Sun. Jan. 31. aimed at raising money for Haitian earthquake victims. The Benefit for Haiti features performances by Gaslight Street, James Justin & Co. (featuring James Justin Burke), Stratton & Moore (members of Po’Ridge, featuring City Paper contributor Stratton Lawrence), Classic Woodies, Skye Paige, Jesse Prichard, Tyler Mechem, and Miriam Allen on the main stage. The Passionistas perform early in the adjacent El Bohio space at 6 p.m.

The event aims to raise money for earthquake victims in Haiti through Yéle Haiti. Established by musician Wyclef Jean, Yéle Haiti is a movement "inspiring change in Haiti through programs in education, sports, the arts, and environment." Doors open at 7 p.m. A $10 donation is requested at the door.
