[image-2]The Hall family takeover of the East Bay area continues. Tommy Hall confirms that Hall Management Group (owners of Halls Chophouse, Ritas, Old Village Post House, Slightly North of Broad), purchased event space 5 Faber St. in July.
“Our plan is to make it the premier private party venue in Charleston for parties anywhere from 10 people to 250 people,” Tommy Hall says of the space that was most recently operated by Neighborhood Dining Group. “The purchase also helps us make the appropriate adjustments to SNOB.”
The sale was originally reported in the Post & Courier where HMG CEO Bill Hall told reporter Warren Wise that the purchase is an effort to accommodate the many requests for event and wedding space.
“We receive requests every day for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and evening business outings that are difficult to provide for our customers with our current restaurants,” Bill Hall said. “This property will provide us with much-needed event space.”
According to HMG’s website, the 7,100-square-foot space called No. 5 Faber is already available to book.
