[image-1] Just a little over an hour drive from downtown Charleston, AIR (Abundance Immersion Retreats) hosts an Abundance Music & Arts Fest on Sat. Nov. 17. The festival is everything area yogis, wellness gurus, and music lovers will want to enjoy — all taking place on a 38 acre farm with 1.5 miles of forest trails, winding streams, and pastures. You can purchase tickets (admission gets you access to a wide range of workshops and vendor market) online.

Gates open at 10:30 a.m. on Sat. Nov. 17 and live music starts at noon. Guests can enjoy environmental/permaculture workshops; music from the Muddy Kings, Lee Barbour, DJ Rob, The Good News, and more (including a gong bath with Alexandra Li); yoga classes; a local craft market; and limited camping (advance reservations required.)
[image-2] Workshops include a beginner’s introduction to Capoeria with Daniel Scruggs; a container gardening workshop; edible forest tours with Vaughan Spearman; a natural building workshop (pallet, cob, and bottle construction of treehouses) with Scott Steedley; a Sunday sunrise meditation, yoga, and sound bath with Gaia Rhythms; how to inoculate mushrooms with Ian Dillinger of Instinct Earth; and more.

The festival is still accepting participants, donations, and volunteers; email festivalabundance@gmail.com if you’re interested in helping out. A portion of proceeds from this event is donated to schools in the community in the form of sustainable education programs; the nonprofit responsible for the festival is the International Center for Sustainability Inc.
