For all fans of classical music, you’re in for a treat. In their third season, violinist Lee-Chin Siow, cellist Natalia Khoma, and pianist Volodymyr Vynnytsky have come together to create and direct College of Charleston’s Music Fest to offer chamber music.
The trio is down for showing Holy City dwellers a thing or two from the past, including music and drinking festivities. To do that, on Sun. March 29 at 4 p.m., a concert and high tea will be held at Ashley Hall to showcase some of music’s great works: Tchaikovksy’s Trio and Paul Schoenfield’s Cafe Music.
Rounding things out will be a post-performance reception with the artists. Admission is $35. Reserving your ticket is strongly encouraged. Student tickets are $10 with a valid student ID. Based on availability, tickets will also be available at the door one hour before the concert begins. Call (843) 953-0935 for tickets and visit www.charlestonmusicfest.com for more information. —Reina Gascon-Lopez
