The State is reporting that Berkeley Rep. Shirley Hinson is resigning her seat to join the Lowcountry Development Center. While making a quick reference to the fact that we have the least number of female legislators in the nation. We did a story about that, as well as Hinson’s failed run for State Senate, in May.
