With cloudy, rainy weather conditions on hand, popular groove-rock band O.A.R. shared the big stage at the Family Circle Cup Stadium with songwriter Citizen Cope and his band on Sat. Aug. 14. Both acts performed in front of a fairly small but dedicated crowds of fans.

At the Music Farm on Wed. Aug. 18, New York rock band Interpol headlined with a solid new lineup with support from Athens quartet Twin Tigers. The sold-out show attracted longtime Interpol fans as well as throngs of young newcomers. Twin Tigers did their thing with a fill-in drummer. Interpol handles a mix of classic and brand-new material with two new guys of their own — bassist/guitarist Dave Pajo and keyboardist Brandon Curtis. Singer/guitarist Paul Banks sported sharp new specs, too.
