Laura Thompson, operations and public relations coordinator at the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, let us know that the The Ensemble of St. Clare at Mepkin Abbey performance on Mon. May 31 is close to selling out. Turns out people don’t mind driving almost an hour out of the city to catch some concert music.
And we’ve heard from the Spoleto box office that the second June 6 performance of Present Laughter, at 8:30 p.m., does still have seats available. The day’s earlier show is sold out. The opening night of Flora, this Saturday, is also sold out.
