Best of Charleston 2022 voting opened this week and thousands of voters headed to the virtual ballot to show some love to their favorite people and places around the Holy City. This week, City Paper readers were also interested in food stories and Folly Beach’s own Scott Snider, a cinematographer who has worked with big names like National Geographic, Smithsonian, Animal Planet and most recently Neflix, where you can find our Lowcountry’s own dolphins on Season 2 Episode 4 of the series Animal.

Here’s a roundup of our top stories, posts and comments from March 19-25.

Stories of the week

Readers had food trucks, a new Mediterranean restaurant and National Cocktail Day on the brain this week. City Paper also announced the opening of Best of Charleston 2022 voting and caught up with nature cinematographer Scott Snider.
