In this week’s issue’s “Concert Reviews” section, we compare Atlanta rock band The Howlies to the likes of the Fall, Wall of Voodoo, Wire, TMBGs, and the Miracles. (The band’s friendly publicist Stacy Ullman asked, “Um, what are those?” when I notified her of our obscure references Wire and Wall of Voodoo…).
They were rockin’ for sure.
City Paper web editor Joshua Curry and I made it over to the ravin’ Howlies gig on March 3 at the Tin Roof after a quick session at the Recovery Room and had a blast.
