Inez Tenenbaum, former state Education Superintendent, told reporters this afternoon that it’s been a long road, but people have come around to Barak Obama. Tenenbaum was one of the state party’s earliest Obama endorsements.

“It was hard to convince Democrats the he could win,” she says. Now, she’s got friends coming up to her saying, “he’s the only one who could win in November.”

Inez says that the campaign is way out in front, “but we’re not taking anything for granted.”
