Stylish alt-rock band Interpol was set to play on July 10 at the Music Farm, but they’ve canceled their summer tour. Interpol was relying on opening for U2 for most of their North America gigs. After U2’s Bono underwent emergency back surgery last week, most of the dates were canceled, terminating many of Interpol’s summer plans. Interpol plans to join U2 in the fall for a European tour, but, for now, only four dates remain on their summer calendar.

Confirmed shows included gigs in Rochester, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Allentown. Interpol promises to reschedule their canceled shows, as stated on their website: "We lament the change in plans, apologize for the inconvenience, and assure you that we’ll do you right — when the time is right and the light is nice."
