Charleston is the place to be for the Dem presidential campaigns come Veteran’s Day. Hillary’s camp will be hosting Maryland’s Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, a veteran of the war in Iraq and a national co-chair of Veterans for Hillary.

At 2 p.m., he’ll participate in the Tri-County Veteran’s Day Parade downtown and he’ll address the Tri-County Veteran’s Day Political Forum after the parade.

Meanwhile, Obama’s campaign is hosting retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Scott Gration, also an Iraq veteran, at a town hall event a few blocks down the street. The Obama for Commander and Chief Town Hall meeting will be at 2 p.m. at the American Theater on King St. The release from Obama’s camp says that Gration will also be taking part in the city’s Veteran’s Day activities.
