Former Democratic Party Chair Joe Erwin announced this afternoon that he is endorsing Barack Obama.
“I believe so much in Barack Obama and his message,” Erwin says, noting that Obama can change the course of American politics. “We need a president who can really build relationships.”
Erwin says he plans to actively campaign for Obama in the next month and a half. People are looking for a fresh perspective and openness in government, he says.
