Looking to get in on presidential election politics in the South Carolina before things get too crazy? You’ve got a few chances coming up, as primary season is just getting started.

First, Republican contender and Ames Straw Poll winner Michelle Bachmann is in town again, speaking at Trident Technical College’s North Charleston campus tonight at 7. Rep. Tim Scott, who is hosting the event, invites people to submit questions for the Minnesota congresswoman via the website for the First in the South Town Hall Series.

In Greenville tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., Rick Santorum will hold a breakfast meet-and-greet at Tommy’s Ham House, where Texas Gov. Rick Perry got a rousing welcome last week. At 3 p.m., he’ll follow in Bachmann’s footsteps with a stop at the Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg.

Next, you can hear Georgia Republican and Fox commentator Herman Cain on Sept. 5 at 3 p.m. in Columbia at the Metropolitan Convention Center.

On the Democratic side, there’s not much happening, but if you’re willing to be on yet another mailing list, you can sign up to receive a free Barack Obama 2012 bumper sticker here.
