Yes, it is that time again. The June French Quarter Art Walk is this Friday the 5th from 5-8 p.m. For some it’s a chance to check out new gallery shows and meet the artists, for some it’s a way to snag some free wine and hors d’oeuvres, and for everyone, it’s a great opportunity to rub elbows with fellow art lovers. Among the opening receptions Friday are the Corrigan Gallery’s Next is Always Relative, a collective show by six local artists whose works will focus on the varied exploration of surface area. Coco Vivo’s latest, An Affaire in the Garden, features new works by nature artist Pamela Bledsoe. And don’t miss the opening of Fluid (see image) at the never-disappointing Robert Lange Studios, featuring the works of two dynamic Charleston artists, Jessica Dungan and John Duckworth. SCOOP Studios, a new contemporary art studio, is hosting its grand opening at 57 1/2 Broad St.
