Back in June, the Kickin’ Chicken guys decided to try something new: a fundraising promotion that would give $1 from every Original Kickin Chicken Sandwich sold to Camp Happy Days, a nonprofit that helps kids with cancer and their families.

What they didn’t now was that their employees would so wholeheartedly embrace the challenge of raising money. Not only did they sell the crap out of some sandwiches, but they also held car washes at their different restaurants to raise even more money.

The result? $11,000 raised to help kids with cancer and their families take part in camps and events year-round that are designed to help them find support and strength to continue fighting.

Good work.
