[image-1]Attention Leon’s lovers, the restaurant now has booze. Owner Brooks Reitz says, “We got our liquor license this afternoon.”

Until now the fried chicken and oyster shop has been serving wine, draft, and cheap beer — the appropriately twee tiny Bud, tiny Bud Light, and tiny Miller High Life options, to be specific. But now, possibly as early as this weekend, cocktails will be available.

“Not sure how long until we actually have booze in place, but I would imagine as early as this weekend (possibly) and the latest, Monday or Tuesday,” Brooks says.

The owner is working on a cocktail menu as we type, but did reveal that there will be two categories: Light & Bright versus Bold & Boozy. We’ll report back on the full menu once we have a copy.
