The Charleston Chapter of Les Dames D’Escoffier (LDEI) is hosting a yard sale featuring dining ware, kitchen tools, cookbooks and more at Tattooed Moose on Johns Island this Sunday, 1-5 p.m. There will be live music, bingo and of course duck fat fries and Thanksgiving sammies from the Tattooed Moose kitchen.

LDEI is a worldwide philanthropic society of professional female leaders in the food, beverage and hospitality industries. All proceeds from the yard sale will go to the organization’s scholarship fund, LDEI Charleston chapter vice president Helen Mitternight said.

“Lots of people are cooking at home during this pandemic, and it’s a perfect time to shop for cookware or cookbooks that can offer fresh inspiration, and to do some good as well,” she said. “The food, beverage and hospitality industry has been so hard-hit during all of this, that helping to fund scholarships in the industry is more important than ever.”
