  • Leslie (on the cover of their latest single)

After thieves broke into Charleston rock trio Leslie’s trailer in Wilmington, Del., on Nov. 12 — stealing most of the band’s guitars, amps, effect pedals, PA, and merchandise — the trio was forced to cancel a big Boston show and head home almost empty-handed. Friends and colleagues in the local music community rushed to help the band over the last two weeks with donations and replacement gear.

Several benefit events are already booked. Hard-rock quintet Dante’s Camaro will donate all proceeds from their show at the Tin Roof on Fri. Nov. 26 to Leslie. Rap band Sick Tight opens. Admission is a $5 donation.

The Pour House hosts another benefit on Thurs. Dec. 2 with Joel T. Hamilton, Gaslight Street, Firework Show, and Sons of Cain on the bill. Music starts at 9 p.m. Admission is a $10 donation.

Upcoming Leslie gigs include a set at Montreux Bar and Grill in Summerville on Fri. Nov. 26 and opening for Drivin’ N’ Cryin’ at the Pour House on Fri. Dec. 17.
