What’s better than a new stack of books? A cheap new stack of books. The Charleston Library Society is hosting their annual fall book sale this weekend, Nov. 19-20, in the gardens behind the building at 164 King St. We’ve been promised plenty of used-book bargains, from scholarly tomes to children’s books, as well as new books. There will also be DVDs, CDs, audio books, movies, music, and more. A tent will be set up, making this a rain-or-shine event. Saturday’s hours are from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday’s sale starts at 1:30 p.m. Visit charlestonlibrarysociety.org for more details.
