The first Brewvival in Noisette, 2010

The execs at COAST Brewing and Charleston Beer Exchange have plans for more tents, more tables, more weird beers, more port-o-potties … and more music at the second annual Brewvival beer festival.

Scheduled for Sat. Feb. 26 at the field across the street from COAST (1250 2nd Street N. in Noisette), the event will include a side stage situated just a few yards away from the main beer tents. Several local acts are set to perform between noon and 6 p.m.

Singer/guitarist Campbell Brown and his roots-rock group Gaslight Street perform first in the afternoon, followed by Latin/groove ensemble the Garage Cuban Band with thir crackling spicy tones, old Cuban folk and jazz standards, and stylish renditions of son montuno and mambo styles. The fiery folk/old-time string trio the South Carolina Broadcasters close the evening.

Tickets to Brewvival are available for $50 in advance. Visit brewvival.com for more.
