Graze’s upcoming beer dinner fits the restaurant’s name perfectly: you’re going to have to graze instead of gobble at the Stone Brewing Co. dinner that includes not four, not five, but six big courses.

Hope you’re hungry.

The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 with Blue Point oysters and Stone Levitation Ale. Then it’s on to a beer-battered cheddar curds (!) and a Lukcy Basartd Ale.

Stone Brewing’s Old Guardian Belgo Barley Wine will accompany the third course’s cinnamon-dusted foie gras with candied bacon. A pan-seared sea bass paired with a Stone Cali-Belgique IPA rounds out the fourth course. Next? A double dose of Bastard (Double Bastard Ale), if you can handle it, with boudin and crawfish etoufée.

Dessert is a chocolate stout cake with Bavarian banana cream paired with a 2008 Stone Russian Imperial Stout.

Sounds like a meal you and your taste buds don’t want to miss. Graze owner Bradford Bobbitt kinda hopes it doesn’t sell out so there’s an extra seat for himself.

“It’s a great deal. Fifty-five dollars for six courses without beer is a great deal, but it’s even better with beer,” he says.
