Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is rumored to be in Ohio ready to take the stage with McCain as his Veep choice. If it’s true, I’m going to guess we’ll see a lot of “bold choice” thrown around.

Let’s hope somebody sneaks “reckless” in there. It is, after all, the argument McCain has thrown at Obama.

Jill Hazelbaker, McCain’s communications director, gave nothing away during an interview on CBS’ “The Early Show.”

“John McCain is going to make the choice from his heart. He’s going to choose someone who can be a partner in governing. He’s going to choose someone who brings character and principle to the table and who shares his priorities. And I’m confident that he’s going to make a great pick,” Hazelbaker said.

No offense, but McCain doesn’t need someone who can “be a partner in governing.” He needs someone who can govern. The unknown Palin has a lot to prove.
