From a Florida sheriff introducing Sarah Palin:

“On Nov. 4, let’s leave Barack Hussein Obama wondering what happened,” the law enforcement officer said.

The McCain campaign later called the comment inappropriate. You know, lets see the candidate call it inappropriate from the stump, then I’ll believe it.

Second, there’s this video clip posted on the Huffington Post where a Palin supporter accuses Obama of treason after misleading comments by Palin on the stump. I’m a bit more curious about it’s authenticity because of: the source, it’s ridciulous similarity to the McCain tape, and the lack of reaction from Palin (unlike McCain’s obvious recognition from his clip).

A reader from Andrew Sullivan’s blog sums up my concern:

Saying your opponent is unfit is one thing, suggesting that he is a evil, a friend of terrorists and a danger to the United States is something else entirely
