The City of Charleston pays tribute to the late Karen and David Stahl with a memorial service on Nov. 13.

Stahl, composer and music director of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra for over 20 years, passed away last month after a battle with lymphoma. His wife, Karen, passed away in September after a 14-year struggle with cancer.

The memorial for David and Karen is held at 11 a.m. at the Dock Street Theatre, the event is open to the public. Overflow seating is available at the French Huguenot Church, located on 44 Queen Street. The service will be aired there live via plasma screen televisions.
