[image-1]Fauxhemian favorite Saint Alban brings dinner back tonight. While Brooks Reitz and Tim Mink’s eatery opened with late night bite ambitions, they had to halt the evening cheese plates and sherry back in January due to early morning demands.

“I did not expect to be this busy in the morning. So rather than stay open until 11 p.m., we’re going to embrace the morning and afternoon and close at 7 p.m,” co-owner Brooks Reitz told Post & Courier at the time.

But now din-din has returned. And James Beard Rising Star Chef semifinalist Ari Kolender has put together a menu that includes everything from green beans with a farm egg and bottarga to squid ink linguini. The 10 dish menu ranges in price from $8 radishes with lemon and Échiré butter (the minimum 84 percent fat “butter with a pedigree”) to $58 for a Southeast Family Farm Ribeye for two.

Dinner begins this evening at 5:30 and will continue Tuesday through Saturday, from 5:30 p.m.-10 p.m.
