We usually go for the burrito, the wings, and the happy hour margs, but y’all, we might need to start hitting up Minero for the burger that lands on their menu today.

Serendipitously falling on the first day of #ChsBurgerWeek 2018, Minero’s new burger Wednesdays came about because, as chef Wesley Grubbs explains, “I love burgers to a fault.”

Grubbs’ burger is comprised of two thin 2-3 ounce grass-fed beef and chorizo patties. “I prefer a single over a double but I know it’s not always about me,” says the chef. Then comes the special sauce made with Hatch chiles for a little bit of heat, mayo, and fat from the beef. All of that is topped with red onion, melty American white cheese, and the good stuff is served on a Brown’s Court brioche bun.

“We’re keeping it to a minimum to start,” says Grubbs. “We’ll start with 25-30 total, when they’re gone they’re gone.” Grubbs says they’ll roll out the burger at around 5 p.m. to catch the happy hour crowd.
