Easter is almost here and you don’t have to (egg) hunt for a way to celebrate. Get off your (bunny) tail and grab your favorite Peeps to celebrate Easter.

Fri. April 12-Sun. April 14

On Fri. April 12 catch an Easter-themed flick, Hop, at MUSC Health Stadium for Films on the Field at 6 p.m. And of course there’s an Easter egg hunt.

The Charleston Museum is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza on Sat. April 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. which includes craft making and an Easter egg hunt in the Joseph Manigault House garden.

Starting at 4 p.m. on Sat. April 13, you can have a Family Fun Day at the Hanahan Amphitheater with jump castles, food trucks, games, and Christian comedian Jamey Ragle.

On Saturday, head to a community Easter celebration in Park Circle from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Hunt for eggs, hang with the Bunny, and play games with new pals.

Head to Pet Helpers’ for their inaugural Spring Eggstravaganza, with an egg hunt for both children and dogs, crafts, face painting, and 50 percent off adult cat adoptions.

Watch 30,000 eggs drop from the sky at Awaken Church’s Helicopter Easter Egg Drop on Sun. April 14, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Thurs. April 18-Sun. April 21

Create a beautiful centerpiece for your Easter dinner at Tiger Lily’s Floral Design Class on April 18, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Monkey Joe’s Easter Egg-stravaganza features $5 off admission, an Easter egg hunt, and a visit from Easter Bunny Joe on April 19, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Head to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens for their 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sat. April 20. They’ll be hiding 20,000 eggs for kids up to the age of 12 to find with prizes.

For some historical fun, Middleton Place’s Easter Eggstravaganza will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m on Sat. April 20. Hard-boiled eggs will be hidden through the Middleton Place Gardens for kids to find and later dye, as well as colonial games, an egg race and toss, and crafts. Reservations are required.

Second Presbyterian Church will be holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt starting at 9:30 a.m on Sat. April 20.

Celebrate spring at Freshfields Village Spring Festival on Sat. April 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a jump castle, mechanical bull, face-painting, tours of a fire engine, and more.

Ashley River Baptist Church is hosting their Easter Egg Hunt on Sat. April 20, starting at 11 a.m.

Emerge Kids Ministries is hosting an Easter Carnival on Sat. April 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Head to Hampton Park on Sat. April 20 for a big ol’ Egg-stravaganza, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Look forward to an egg hunt, face painting, balloon artists, pictures with the Easter Bunny herself, and more!

On Sun. April 21, attend the Easter in the Park service from Uptown Church at 10 a.m. in Hampton Park. It’s free to attend and both pets and kids are invited to attend, with child- and dog-care available.
